The small files this site sets, what they do, and how to say no.
What we set
Analytics (Google Analytics 4): anonymous usage measurement — pages viewed, session length, device type. Used to improve the site.
Advertising (Meta Pixel, Google tags): measure whether our own advertising brings visitors, and enable us to reach previous visitors with relevant messages on those platforms.
Strictly functional storage: the breath-hold trainer stores your personal best in your browser's local storage, on your device only. No health-tool inputs are ever stored — see the privacy policy.
What we don't do
No sale of data, no third-party ad networks beyond Google/Meta measurement, and no tracking inside the health tools.
Your controls
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site works fully without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics via Google's browser add-on.
- Manage ad personalisation at Google (adssettings.google.com) and Meta (accountscenter settings).
